Ment Hour is a one-to-one mentoring programme empowering fundraisers through regular sessions that aims to help them be more productive, efficient and effective. Bringing sector driven success and achievements, which fundraisers can apply to succeed their fundraising goals and ultimately drive their mission to the forefront.
”I enrolled in mentoring sessions with Ikhlaq to cover Major Donors and Corporate Fundraising, having got no experience in this field. The sessions were very informative, practical and included some role play to bring the concepts to life. Having followed the tips and guidance provided by Ikhlaq, we have already enrolled a Patron for our small charity. I would fully recommend using Ikhlaq for your fundraising mentoring.” Alex Thomas, Grant and Bids Manager at Community Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services (CDARS).
”Mentoring session with Ikhlaq helped me to think differently about fundraising. Specially our social media team is thrilled with his ideas and suggestions. I highly recommend Ikhlaq for fundraising mentoring.” Ann Moideen, CEO Ann Foundation
Why I Want To Help?
I am trained mentor and having mentored many wonderful fundraisers for the last few years to become the best that they can be, has taught me that there is much need in the sector. I found the primary reason for fundraisers not being able to focus on their training and continuous personal development is the ‘time’. As they are always overwhelmed with their day-to-day job, especially fundraisers from small charities where they are trying to do everything from grant writing to designing leaflets, organising event to raising funds and thanking donors.
So Ment Hour came up with the solution and offers mentoring sessions during your lunch breaks or after work, is great way to keep your personal development get done even while you are too busy.
How It Works
As a new Mentee, you can book a free 10-minute call to find out if I can offer you what you are looking for and if we combine the right fit as mentor and mentee. If we combine the right fit, a 40 minute session once a month will be booked to take place whether face-to-face, over Skype or over the phone during your lunch break or after working hours. There is no minimum commitment period and therefore giving you the flexibility you require, as this isn’t a one-size fits all approach. I have found that the average sessions my mentees have booked in chunks with me at regular intervals are between 8-12, which they have stated has helped them to make a real impact, reflect, reassess and then return.
What Will Be Covered In The Session?
I have covered an array of topics, such as fundraising strategy, how to identify supporters, how to cultivate and make an effective Ask, best way to Thank the supporters so they love your organisation, stewardship plan which really works, prep for major donor and corporate meetings, personal effectiveness, how to plan and deliver high end events, how to utilise your board in your fundraising efforts and career planning.
We can also discuss the key topics beforehand you want to cover and what you want to achieve from the session.
Why not try for yourself? Book your free 10 minutes call today to find out if I can offer you what you are looking for and if we combine the right fit as mentor and mentee.
